Meet The Team

Nina Wingrove

President/Treasurer, Board of Directors

Nina is a life long animal lover. Growing up in Texas she always had a variety of animals from dogs, cats, goats, ducks, rabbits and more. This fostered her love for animals and ensuring that they find safe and loving homes. She has been a volunteer with the Oconee County Animal Shelter since 2015 and works as the Director of Operations at RE/MAX Living Real Estate in Watkinsville. Nina is happily married with two sons and two lively dogs. During her free time she enjoys cooking, watching football, spending time with her family and of course volunteering at her favorite animal shelter.

ANGIE EADES

Secretary, Board of Directors

Angie is married to Bryan and “Mama” to 22 year old twin sons, Austin and Brice. She is retired after spending 31 years as an elementary school teacher. Substitute teaching keeps her busy several days a week. For the last four years, Angie has volunteered at the OC Animal Shelter where her family adopted two fur babies, Ruby and Dakota. She served two terms on the Oconee County Animal Services Advisory Board.

MELISSA LAGUE

Board of Directors

Melissa is a true animal advocate, no animal too big or small to be deserving of her love. Melissa is happily married with one adorable son. She spends her days at Red Cedar Equestrian in Watkinsville where she manages horse boarding, lessons, leasing and sales. When Melissa is not busy on her farm she is hard at work pursuing her passion of TNR and educating the community about spay and neuter.

Kelsey Fox

Board of Directors

Kelsey’s commitment to animal welfare started with a promise to her late golden retriever, Elliot – she would help sick and needy animals. Kelsey loves fostering dogs from OCAS and then seeing them move on to safe and happy homes. Having three older dogs, she definitely has a soft spot for senior pups and kitties. Kelsey has worked for Georgia Theatre Company for 23 years and her daughter is an undergrad at UGA. Kelsey is also a new member of the Oconee County Animal Services Advisory Board.
